6 months.

-I'm six months pregnant now.
-Currently I am feeling great.
-The baby kicks all the time.
-I like to put the remote on my belly and watch it move.
-We just got a crib!
-My cravings are still sweets. Lots of fruit and popsicles. Not so much candy anymore.
-I dislike plain ol' water.
-They tell you pregnancy gas is bad. But you don't really know how bad it is until you gross yourself out. It stinks.
-I am indicisive about crib bedding. I have dreams about it.
-I haven't bought any maternity clothing, except for the bella-band. But I can't stand wearing jeans. All I want to wear is one pair of yoga pants I have with a whole in the butt.
-We are thinking Austin for the name, but haven't set it in stone yet. I came up with it, then CJ started loving it, now I am doubting it. Maybe I just want to disagree.

5 months

So, I'm 5 months preggo now. Currently I am feeling great, a lot different than a month ago. My morning sickness actually slowed down right around the time of the wedding, so I got lucky. My dad asked me a couple months ago how I liked being pregnant. At the time I lied and said I liked it. But my actual feelings about pregnancy a couple months ago were that I hated it! I hated being sick, hated peeing every 5 seconds, hated hated hated it. Now I am feeling better, and actually have started to show, so it's not so bad. We found out we are having a boy, and we couldn't be happier! CJ and I both wanted a boy first, so we are stoked to find out our wish came true. It's been fun shopping for baby, which I am now obsessed with. CJ even got into a crazy baby shopping mood the other day, and I totally took advantage of it! I haven't had any weird cravings, but I definately want sweets all the time. I eat fruit, candy and popsicles like it's my job. We haven't decided on a name yet, we have one we like, but won't make it final yet. We've still got time.

Mr. and Mrs.

We're married!!!! CJ and I tied the knot on July 25, 2009. Our wedding was perfect! Thank you sooo much to everyone that helped out and made our day so special! Our photographer was amazing! She has a sneak peek of the pics on her website http://www.brookeashleyphotography.com/. Go to the blog page. I'm so excited to see the rest!

Anyways, we went on a little mini-moon afterwards, really just took the scenic route back to Eugene from Vegas. First we drove down to San Diego and stayed at my parents house for the night, just to save on hotels and get into Cali. Then we drove to Santa Barbara, and stayed at the cutest hotel I have ever seen! It's called the Hotel Oceano. It was seriously so cute! Here are a few pics:

We shopped around these cute boutique shops, went to the best Italian restaurant for dinner, then before we headed out the next day we biked around for a bit.

So then we drove to San Francisco. When I was at my dad's booking the hotels for the trip, I was under the impression that the Radisson was a nice hotel. I was totally wrong. When we walked into our room it smelled like urine or mildew or something disgusting. Didn't even have a mini fridge or anything like that. Not that I care about all the crap they want you to buy, but for what we paid I imagined it would be a lot nicer. It said that it was the only hotel actually on Fisherman's Wharf, which it was, but none of the rooms actually had a view of the wharf, or the ocean. Our room had a view of the Holiday Inn across the street. Oh, and on top of the room charge, we had to pay an additional $37.00 to park our car! So we had planned on going to a baseball game, but apparently San Fran is foggy and freezing this time of year, and I didn't have a sweatshirt, so we didn't go. We went to a restaurant to eat crab instead, knowing that crab has always made us happy. Well not this time. They cooked the outside of the crab in a buttery, more like greasy sauce that made it too hot to touch. The clam chowder didn't have a hint of clam flavor, just potato. So we went to bed grumpy.

The next day we decided to go to China Town, which was a lot more fun. We also hiked up 3 blocks of Lombard Street. That is the street that is famous for being super steep. So steep that cars have to drive down it at an angle. Here are a few pics from that:

Victory!!!

In the end it was the best week of my life! People say your wedding day should be the happiest day of your life, and mine totally was. It rained that day, which did turn out to be good luck! It was so great to spend so much time with my girlfriends and new family. Plus we topped it off with a fun little trip and we didn't want it to end! We are sad to be home, but excited to be married!!!

Please, after you.

Our old house was so awesome and we miss it. I've posted pictures of the deer and the wild turkeys right in our backyard. But our new house is pretty awesome too. Everyday on the freeway entrance and exit, there are dozens of geese and their geslings or goslings or whatever you call baby geese. They usually wait their turn to cross the street and it is so cute! Well this time their was a traffic jam because they were ALL crossing at the same time. The picture is crappy because it is through my dirty window, but still cute to see.

BIG news!!!

So my life with CJ has just taken a HUGE leap forward! About 3 weeks ago we found out we are PREGNANT!!! It's too early for an ultrasound to get an exact due date, but if the calculations are correct, I'm due to give birth on December 25th- or what is more commonly known as Christmas. That put's me at about 8 1/2 weeks. And yes I have morning sickness, well morning sickness, afternoon sickness, night sickness... you know how it is. We are both so excited! CJ and I both want a boy first, but lately he has been getting the feeling that it is a GIRL. Whatever it is, baby doesn't like orange juice or many meats (that is what comes up the most).

So in other life changing news, we have decided to move our wedding UP now to this July 25th. I know, I know, we've changed the date 3 times now, but this one is for sure staying. Originally when we found out we were pregnant we wanted to have the wedding after the baby was born, but we got some good advice that life is not going to get any easier than it is right now, and that we may not ever find the time to have a wedding after the baby is born. So we decided to move it up to just before I start showing (hopefully, because my dress has no room for a bump!) So now I am totally stressed about planning an out-of-state wedding in 2 months, but I'm thankful to have the help of my future mother-in-law that knows way more about wedding than I do! So thanks Lori!

Easter eggs

This should've been posted a while ago, but we have been moving/packing/unpacking so I finally could post some pictures. CJ and I decorated eggs this year. His turned out very cool (the first two pics are his front and back) and mine was ok.

We Moved!

We moved into a new place this past week. Still in Eugene, but closer to CJ's work. It's a nice little place! We FINALLY have a couch, and an extra bed so that people can COME VISIT!!
